ShortEasy

Refund Policy

Last updated: 1 October 2026

The short version

  • Cancel any time. Your plan runs to the end of the month you've paid for, and you aren't charged again.
  • Haven't made a film since you were charged? Ask within 14 days and we'll refund that charge in full.
  • Once you've made a film in a billing month, that month can't be refunded.

1. Cancelling

Open "Your plan" in ShortEasy, go to Stripe's billing page, and cancel your plan. Your plan keeps working until the end of the month you've paid for, then stops, and you won't be charged again. Your films stay in your studio to watch and download.

2. Refunds

3. Changing plans

Moving to a bigger plan charges the difference for the rest of the month straight away. Moving to a smaller plan credits the difference against your next bills. That credit isn't paid back to your card.

4. Customers in the EU and UK: your right to withdraw

If you live in the EU or UK, you can withdraw from a new plan within 14 days of buying it, without giving a reason, and get a full refund, as long as you haven't made a film with it. When you buy a plan, you ask us to start straight away. You also agree that you lose this right once you make a film, because films are made for you on demand. To withdraw, email us. A sentence saying you're withdrawing is enough.

5. How to ask, and how you're paid back

Email support@shorteasy.app from the address you sign in with. Refunds go back to the card you paid with, through Stripe, and usually show on your statement within 5 to 10 working days.
